[CRUSH-all] Awards Presentation and general team stuff...

Hello Everyone,
 
I am pleased to announce that a date for this years awards  presentation has 
been set. It will be held May 11th at 6:30 pm. We will be  having a reception 
following the presentation.
 
I have formal invitations to send out so I need addresses. Please send me  
your address so I can get your invitation to your family in the mail this  week.
 
We did not have a great turnout for the group photo so we will try again at  
the end of Thursday. We will also try at noon at the next Saturday meeting and 
 finally, if worst comes to worst, we will get a photo at the awards  
presentation.
 
Please plan on being there. We have tons of recognition to go around! I  also 
need a student to head up this years student awards. A student needs to get  
the students together and pick the awards you would like to present so  
certificates can be made. Please volunteer for this by sending me an  email.
 
I think the team would like to organize a recruitment push before San Diego  
for new interested high school and 8th grade students. Start talking to people 
 and tell them about the trip. We will get back to you guys with a plan, but 
feel  free to share any suggestions or ideas!
 
Lastly, a few mentors were discussing the idea of a graduation party for  the 
three seniors on the team...Mimi, Jessica and Michelle. If anyone has any  
thoughts or feeling about this, all ideas are welcome. We are presently  
entertaining the idea of a big pool party and barbecue.
