Greetings to the Las Vegas SSA Robot Team Travelers,

Your hotel arrangements have been made at the Best Western Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It is located one mile from the University of Las Vegas which is the venue for your robot competition and 3 miles from the McCarran International Airport. For those arriving by plane the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. When you arrive at the airport, call the hotel (702.731.2020) and they will send the shuttle.

The hotel has an outdoor pool and hot tub so bring your bathing suit if you want to use these. The pool is not heated. I don't know the temp of the pool although the hotel said it has been 75 degrees outside during the day.

There is no complimentary breakfast at this hotel. We will be bringing breakfast items for you as each room has a refrigerator and space to breakfast. Coffee is available in each room as well. A dining room is also part of this hotel.
