Good Morning from WPI!

Summer vacation is just around the corner, and I'm sure as a Robotics team leader  you know some students who would LOVE to spend some of their summer solving challenging problems. If so, then WPI has just the opportunity: Frontiers and Launch!

WPI Frontiers is a two week, residential program that runs from July 9-21. This program is for soon to be juniors and seniors and has a blend of academic coursework, social activities, communications workshops and field trips. Participants choose a "major" area of study, which includes robotics and several science and engineering disciplines, working with WPI faculty and state of the art equipment that our students use. The program is a great way for students to test their interests in a discipline and get a closer look at what college life is like. The tuition for the program is $2100, and the application deadline has been extended until May 31st. WPI Launch is our brand new summer program offering for soon to be freshmen and sophomore high school students. Launch is a one week day program which has two offerings from July 31-August 4 and August 7-11. Participants can choose from three academic areas, which include biology, computer science or robotics. The students will learn from WPI instructors and be exposed to our state of the art facilities. Each session has a cost of $495 and registration is due by June 30th.
