ALL CRUSH SUPPORTERS THANK YOU! 

Hello team

I'm still tired and sunburned but I have to say just a few words to you
guys. This morning I arrived to the school as most of you did very early, by
the time I got there some of our mentors had already been there for at least
an hour. When I got there I was told that Bill B was in the hospital. I am
so happy with the way all of you pulled together to host an event like this.
This event is a real test of how well our team will work together for the
whole year. 

Parents who came early and stayed late to set up and clean up THANK YOU! It
was asked of me by the star reporter today "so, it sounds like the team is
greatly helped by parent volunteers" and I said yes. PARENTS we need all of
you. If your child is on CRUSH you can ask either Bill B or Margaret R where
you can plug yourself in to help our team. If you were there today, you saw
how the team works, just let them know how you can help next time. Most
likely you will receive a phone call requesting your help after the mentors
have had a chance to read over your paperwork and see where you have
volunteered to help. 

Again, team great job in pulling together and getting the job done. THANK
YOU for your help! 

By the way Bill if you are reading this, GET WELL SOON! 

REMINDER If your student has completed the application process GREAT. If
not, please remind him/her to e-mail their 200 word writing about why they
want to be on this team, what they can bring to the team, ect. Have them
e-mail this writing to Margaret R by midnight tonight {deadline} her e-mail
address is muddyclear at comcast.net. The rest of the application form should
have already been turned into her by this time. If it hasn't been BRING
THOSE PAPERS ON TUESDAY AND TURN IN TO THE MENTORS FOR THAT DAY. But at
least get the writing in tonight! GO CRUSH 1011.
