[CRUSH-all] Home from FIRST Championship in Atlanta!

Hi All

We had a great time at the Championship in Atlanta. Our team worked very effectively all day Thursday to modify the robot into a "ramp bot". After that, we competed all day Friday and one more game Saturday morning. In every game the robot worked well. Our ramps deployed reliably and partners we able to climb whenever they tried. We won 4 and lost 3. One of the three losses was due to one of our alliance partners being broken and not showing up for the game. We almost won anyway! So our record coulda-shoulda been 5 and 2. Our final rank was around 30 out of 86 in our division, an ending to be proud of. 

We have tons of pictures. I hope to sort through them this week and get them organized onto the photodump. I'll post another note when that happens. 

Let's take the week off please, and get some needed R&R as well as catching up on whatever backlog has developed for each of us. I know mine is pretty deep. Next week we'll start again meeting Tuesday and Thursday and plan activities for the rest of the school year and the summer.
