Hi team
Hopefully you all enjoyed the long weekend after our hard push to finish 
last week. It was a nice break for me.

This week we'll meet Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We need to decide 
what spare parts to make and pack, plan the tool kit to take to 
competitions, and develop our "pit" display to wow other teams, 
visitors, and judges. That's what we'll be doing during these meetings.

The first competition in Phoenix is coming up fast - it's next week! 
We'll leave from SSA very early Thursday morning, March 6, and return 
Saturday evening March 8. We have not yet decided whether to have a 
sleep-over at school Wednesday night before traveling, or just trust 
everyone to get to school on time Thursday AM. We need to leave by 
around 5:30.

The second competition is three weeks after the first. We'll leave for 
Las Vegas Wednesday morning March 26, compete Thursday-Saturday, and 
drive back on Sunday March 30.

We need to get a count of students planning to attend the competitions 
so we can plan transportation and lodging details. There is the 
possibility of funding support that may significantly reduce the cost, 
so I can't yet say a final cost per person. For now, please assume the 
cost will be affordable for you and tell me whether you will plan to 
participate in either/both the Phoenix or Las Vegas trip. Please respond
