The bottom line for those that don't like to read: we'll meet this week on Tuesday and Thursday at the usual time (3:15-5:15 or so). These meetings are optional, not meant to interfere with holiday activities. We will probably NOT MEET the week between Christmas and New Year's day.
Despite the fact that the semester had ended, several students showed up for the work session yesterday and much progress was made. The new prototype, at least for now dubbed FWIPER (meaning something like Four Wheeled Intelligently Programmed Electrified Robot) is nearly ready to roll. It's all wired up, chains on wheels, etc. It lacks a battery mount and a little matter of programming, then it will be drivable. So close at the end, but we ran out of time. I'd like to especially thank new mentor Steve Krase who worked with the students Tuesday and Thursday this week, helping them plan and execute a nice wiring harness for the new bot. I didn't get a picture at the end of the day, so it's more done than this one shows:

We'll definitely drive it on Tuesday. See some of you there.
Bill
