[CRUSH-build] milling the shifter dog

Joe is trying to decide how to hold the steel disk while milling the shifter dog pattern into it. I don't think putting it in the vise will work - it will not be stable in the vise clamped on just two points.
One correct way to do it would be with a collect block, but we don't have one yet.
Another way would be to first bore the center hole that's needed anyway, then bolt the disk to a flat plate, then put the plate in the vise. This is probably better even than the collet, since the edges of the disk will be exposed. To add even more rigidity, mill a shallow cup in the flat plate that the disk drops into with a snug fit.
We'll need to do a similar thing for milling the gears that mate with the shifter dog.
