Hi builders

If you plan to be at our meeting Saturday, where we'll get some demo and instruction of the new TIG welding equipment in the shop (Miller Syncrowave 200), you should find some time to view the material at the Miller web site. This will prep you for more quickly understanding what is being shown. The web link is http://millerwelds.com/education/library.html, look at the various topics under "Improving Your Skills", and particularly TIG Welding. The equipment can also do Stick Welding, and we'll get some demo of that too, so you may want to also read those topics if you have time. As a general rule, we'll use TIG for steel or aluminum on robot frame and parts, since the material thicknesses and weld sizes are small. Stick might be used for bigger and less "pretty" steel projects (shop cart, shelving, etc).
