[CRUSH-build] notes from day 5

I have continued to add notes to the same brainstorming doc. Newest days are 
nearer the top, so just read until you get to where you've read before. This 
is the beginning and part of the documentation of our design process.

Updated doc is attached. Your participation in the build meetings will be 
more effective if you've reviewed this doc before the meeting. I realize 
this may not always be possible, but do it if you have time.
