Dear Crush 1011 Member,

 

Nicole Rapatan, one of our eighth-grader students got the Pima County
Spelling Bee Winner this year again. We congratulate her, her parents, and
her teachers at SSA.

After taking first place in the Pima County Spelling Bee last year, Nicole
Rapatan said she was feeling the pressure to maintain her reign as queen of
the bee. 

Rapatan, an eighth-grader at Sonoran Science Academy, did not disappoint,
beating out 54 other children Saturday to make her way back to the March 31
state competition, where she came in 10th last year...
