[CRUSH-build] cantilever lift vs some kind of jack

Cantilever means something that hangs out in the air supported only on one
end. Like a diving board for example, or in our case, the platform of the
lift if we follow a fork lift style design. Our case is much more difficult
than the diving board, since with a diving board you can have several feet
of support before the cantilever begins, but in our hinged platform idea,
the whole cantilever, with 150+ pounds on it would be supported by some
small hinging mechanism at the fold out point. It may be difficult to make
that mechanism strong enough.
