SSA TEACHER RECEIVES AWARD

 

Sonoran Science Academy Math teacher and AMC coach, Mr. Kadir Bahar,
recently received the 2007 Pedagoguery Award.  This annual Award is given by
the American Mathematics competition and the Mathematical Association of
American.  Two Awards are given per state each year to teachers who have
participated in the AMC 10 and the AMC 12 contests for the last 2 years and
had the best difference in team score, thereby making the biggest
improvement.  As a result of our school's performance and increased level of
performance in the 2007 AMC contests Mr. Bahar was awarded the Pedagoguery
Award.
